Bio
I started my career in TV over 20 years ago and I’ve worked mainly in film and TV over those years. Starting out at Channel 9 in Adelaide, I worked on Children's shows like Here's Humphrey and C'mon Kids, whilst also working on the local News and National Shows such as A Current Affair, Today Show, Hey Hey it’s Saturday and the Footy Show when they came to SA. With flexible hours I was able to further my experience and education through additional work on commercials, fashion parades, weddings and photographic shoots. During this time I also taught makeup classes at several colleges, while continuing to complete a Diploma in Art and Certificate in Hairdressing. Gradually I moved into working on Drama Series TV and film. Firstly completing all of McLeod's Daughters, Series 1-8. Since then I have also worked on Bed of Roses, Lowdown and The Slap for the ABC, The Fairies for Channel 7 and recently Beaconsfield for Channel 9. Recent films I’ve completed include Red Dog, Oranges and Sunshine, The Boys Are Back and Beautiful Kate. Most of my print work has been related to my TV and film work with many shoots for TV Week, New Idea, Woman’s Weekly, Who Magazine and the like. But I have also worked on some more “High Fashion” shoots from time to time completing work for the Adelaide Magazine and some of Adelaide’s top hairdressers over the years. Previously I've worked on TV commercials and print campaigns with various local and interstate agencies and production houses, producing material for Toyota, Savings & Loans, Work Cover, SA Tourism, Crime Stoppers SA, The Australian Census and most recently for Stratco. During my career I have personally worked with many celebrities and actors including the late Johnny Cash and Sir Donald Bradman to Ray Martin, Jennifer Hawkins, Natalie Bassingthwaite and the cast of McLeod‘s Daughters since it’s inception. I pride myself in delivering a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality to any production I work on. I believe that my depth of experience and knowledge will add value to any future job. However I'm flexible and open to new ideas, as I believe it can only improve my skills. This keeps me motivated to continue to expand my horizons in this industry and be an asset to any team I am a part of.
