Membership Terms & Conditions

All members applying for membership with SA Freelancer must agree to the following terms and conditions:

• All statements made in the application are true and correct at the time the application was lodged.
• I consent to assisting SA Freelancers in seeking verification of any of the statements made in this application.
• I understand SA Freelancers has the right to refuse an application for membership and is not obliged to offer reasons or explanation.
• I confirm I have read the Privacy Policy Statement.

Our Fees

The only time you will pay SA Freelancers is if you get a job, the $70 + GST fee is applicable to every job referral resulting in a job.

So SA Freelancers can provide a simple effective system to you we have a STRICT 7 Day Account payment system. Upon confirmation of a job SA Freelancers will email an account to you, if payment has not been received within 7 days, one follow up call is made before passing the invoice onto a collection agency.

Personal Information & Notices of Unavailability

The Member agrees to maintain their personal information and notices of unavailability by sending notification of changes to [email protected].

Retraction of Membership by SA Freelancers

The Member agrees SA Freelancers has the discretionary right to retract the membership of a person at any time. Written notification of intention to retract a person's membership will be sent seven (7) days prior.

Cancellation of Membership by Member

The Member agrees to give seven (7) days notice of their intention to cancel their membership and to send such notification to [email protected]

Supply of Information

SA Freelancers requires your personal information to process your application for membership, maintain your membership and allow us to identify you. If all or part of the information requested in the Application Form is not provided then we are not be able to process your application.

Disclosure

To assist us in providing the best possible service to you, we may disclose your personal information to Production Companies seeking to contract your services. We will, unless you tell us not to, disclose the following details to Production Companies:

1. Your mobile, home telephone and fax numbers
2. Your email address
3. Your home address
4. Your full day and half day rates on request
5. Details contained in your CV
6. Details of any equipment you may own or operate

We will not, unless we have your permission, disclose any of your personal information to other members of SA Freelancers or any other person, body or company not pertaining to a Production Company operating in the International Film Industry.

Privacy Policy Statement

Information is paramount at SA Freelancers as it is the ability to provide accurate details to Production Companies in order to maintain a superior level of service. In doing so it is important to us we have your trust. The Privacy Act 1998 regulates the way SA Freelancers uses your personal information provided by you. Personal Information includes any information from which you can be reasonably identified. This statement explains your privacy rights and our rights and obligations in relation to your personal information.

Consent

By submitting your application for membership to SA Freelancers, you acknowledge you've read this Statement and understand and consent to the use, storage maintenance and disclosure of your personal information as detailed in this Statement.

This consent will remain in force until you cancel your membership with SA Freelancers or have your membership revoked.

Access & Correction

You have the right to access your personal information held by SA Freelancers. Should you require such access you can either contact us via email or access your details online at www.safreelancers.com.au using your member login and password.
